Susanne Primgaard

Susanne Primgaard is a dressage trainer and instructor from the Pacific Northwest.  She has been riding since the age of six and has been training professionally for the last 10 years.

• Susanne has trained with many instructors throughout the years including: Ulla Boysen, Hans Mueller, Hilda Gurney and Christina Hermodson.
• For the last seven years she has had the privilege of training with Henrik Johansen, a Danish licensed instructor, who is well-known in Sweden and Denmark where he teaches classical dressage for all levels of riders.
• Susanne also participates in Henrik Johansen’s USDF accredited Positive Riding Module program for instructors. 
• Her teaching philosophy is to develop independent riders who understand the horse’s point of view, thereby creating harmony between horse and rider.
• Making use of the horse’s natural tendencies is key to her training program, so as to create a horse that is willing and happy to do the work.
